What is the Ripken Development Experience? 

The Ripken Development Experience is a 2-day baseball camp designed to help players improve both on and off the field. The program combines fundamental training, position-specific instruction, game simulations, performance tracking, and mindset development to create a complete player growth experience. 

When is the event? 

The event will take place Monday, August 10 through Tuesday, August 11, 2026. 

Where is the event located? 

The camp will be held at Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, Maryland, a premier baseball complex with top-tier fields, cages, and training facilities. 

What ages can attend? 

The event is open to baseball players ages 9U–14U. 

What are the daily camp hours? 

Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. 

When does check-in begin? 

Check-in begins at 8:00 AM on Monday, August 10. 

Is lunch included? 

No, lunch is not provided. Players should bring their own lunch each day. 

What will players do during camp? 

Daily camp activities include: 

• Skill rotations with position-specific training and fundamentals  

• Simulated gameplay and situational drills  

• Performance tracking and measurable assessments  

• Strategy and baseball IQ development  

• Competitive training designed to prepare players for fall baseball  

What areas of the game will be covered? 

Players will receive instruction in: 

• Hitting  

• Pitching  

• Throwing  

• Fielding  

• Catching  

• Base running  

• Agility  

• Game strategy and situational awareness  

Who should attend this event? 

This camp is designed for players ages 9U–14U of all competitive levels who are looking for structured development and game-ready training heading into the fall season. 

Who will be coaching at the event? 

Instruction will be led by experienced coaches and trainers with backgrounds in college, professional, and high-level competitive baseball.

Will players receive evaluations or performance feedback? 

Yes. Players will receive measurable skill assessments and feedback throughout camp. 

Is pMotion included? 

Yes. pMotion performance tracking and Scout Profile access are included as part of the event experience.

• Training resources to help guide development after camp  

Are there optional add-ons? 

Yes. The following optional add-ons may be available: 

• Advanced Hitting

Are add-on spots limited? 

Yes. Add-on sessions have limited availability and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 

How is the camp broken down by age group?

What should players bring? 

Players should plan to bring their standard baseball equipment, including anything needed for their primary and secondary positions, as well as: 

• Glove  

• Bat  

• Helmet  

• Cleats/turf shoes  

• Catcher’s gear if applicable  

• Water bottle  

• Packed lunch  

• Any additional personal gear they prefer to train with  

Will players rotate positions? 

Yes. Players will rotate through drills, gameplay, and situational work, with an emphasis on versatility and overall development.
