The All-Ripken Games are open for players in the 10u-16u age groups. 

Will we combine age groups?  

14U and 16U age groups will be combined unless there are enough participants and sufficient field space to separate them into their own divisions. 

All other age groups remain separate unless otherwise notified in advance.

Is this a stay-to-play event?  

No, we are not stay-to-play. You can find a discounted rate for lodging through our travel partners for your event by visiting here.

What age group/division do I register my player for?

Players are placed in an age group based on their age before August 31, 2025. 

Whatever age they were before that date determines their eligible age group. 

For Example: If your athlete is 10 years old before 8/31/26, they would compete at the 10u age division.  

How much is the deposit?  

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $149 is required for registration. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the event.  

How are players nominated?  

To be considered for the All-Ripken Games Powered by Under Armour, athletes must be nominated by a parent, coach, or teammate. After submission, our scouting team will review the nomination and begin the official selection process.

How do I register my player?

Once an athlete is nominated and selected, an official registration link will be sent to the email provided. To begin the process, families may nominate their athlete here.

How do I register for the Home Run Derby?

This is an add-on experience, and there are limited spots available. Once sold out, this add-on experience will no longer be available for purchase. 

How does the waitlist work?

If the event is full or at capacity, players can join the waitlist with no payment required. 

If a spot becomes available, families will be contacted in order of waitlist sign-up. 

If you haven't been contacted 14 days before the event, all spots have been filled. 

What is your refund policy?  

For the All-Ripken Games, the initial $149.00 payment is a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. Once a registration fee is paid, no refunds will be issued via cash, check, or credit card. 

Any remaining balance paid beyond the $149.00 deposit may be issued as a credit if the participant is unable to attend. Credits may be applied toward a future All Ripken event and must be used by the end of the following calendar year, subject to event availability and registration deadlines. After that time, all remaining funds become non-refundable and non-transferable. 

How many games will be played?  

For 4-day events, every team will play a minimum of four games, including three pool play games and at least one bracket game.

For 3-day events, every team will play a minimum of three games, including two pool play games and at least one bracket game.

How is playing time determined?  

All players are guaranteed a minimum of six total innings at their primary position during the event. If a player pitches during games, those innings pitched will count toward their six guaranteed primary-position innings. Please note that this may be spread across multiple games.  

How is the batting order created?

Teams will use a rolling lineup managed by their coach. Each lineup will pick up wherever it is concluded in the previous game. For example, if the game ends with the 8th hitter on deck, the 8th hitter will bat first in the next game. 

What is the Player Evaluation?  

Every player will be evaluated throughout the event in three different forms by their coaches: during team practices, evaluation drills, and gameplay.

What is the Game Format & Rules?

10U - 16U:  Standard Rules Apply (except the drop 3rd strike rule will not apply for the 10U age division) 

Game Format 

• 6 innings per game 

• No new inning after 1 hour 30 minutes 

• 5-run limit per inning (except the 6th inning, which is unlimited) 

Run Rule 

• 15-run lead after 4 innings 

• 10 – run lead after 5 innings 

Run limits are in place for player safety and to prevent pitcher overuse. 

What color pants and socks should I wear?  

We ask that all players bring white pants and red, navy blue, or neutral socks to match the uniforms and their fellow teammates. Additional merchandise will be available for purchase on-site and online in the official All-Ripken Team Store.

What is included for my player?  

Each player will receive two jerseys (one home, one away), a team hat, and a commemorative ring. 

When will the detailed schedule be released?  

The full game, practice, and overview schedule will be available two weeks before the event. 

Can I request to play on the same team as another player?  

No teammate requests will be honored unless for siblings or immediate family members. Please email softball@allripken.com
